Moscow, Berlin, and Paris are Linked by Rail

A joint partnership between France's SNCF and Russian Railways have joined their their capital cities via Berlin through the opening of a new train line.

The first train from Moscow arrived at Paris' Gare de l'Est station (pictured above) at 8:31 last night. The travel time is around 38 hours.This is the second train line linking both countries as the Nice-Moscow line was inaugurated in 2007.
