The Canadian operator just signed its first mountain property in Europe in the Savoyard resort Megève, which is well known for its upmarket hotel supply.
The Four Seasons Hotel Megève, which will have new buildings as well as the addition to the Chalet du Mont d'Arbois, will offer a total of 55 rooms and suites. Located at the bottom of the slopes, the property will offer four dining options. The Four Seasons group will also operate the Mont d'Arbois country club, a nearby golf course with 18 holes.
On the French market, the upscale brand already operates an address in Paris: Four Seasons Hotel George V and the Grand-Hôtel du Cap-Ferrat. Last April, the operator also took over management of the Hôtel du Palais in Biarritz. As of January 1, 2016, the Canadian group was among the fifty biggest hotel operators worldwide in terms of number of rooms: according to data published by Hospitality ON, its portfolio included 101 properties with 21,755 rooms. Close to 50 other projects by the brand are now being developed in 42 countries/
