Hilton and Lime offer clients the opportunity to explore London at their own pace.
Guests at Hilton hotels in London can now take advantage of Lime's fleet of electrically-assisted bicycles, enabling them to travel around the capital in a more remote and sustainable manner.
As part of the partnership, 70 of the zero-emission electric bikes will be parked at seven flagship Hilton properties in central London. The collaboration aims to encourage greener tourism and alleviate concerns about travel in the city.
To ensure user safety, regularly disinfected helmets will be available at the front desk, and free 15-minute promotional codes will be available at the reception desk of participating hotels.
Julie Baker, Vice President, Hilton UK and Ireland, said:
We are very pleased that our guests now have the opportunity to ride one of Lime's electric bicycles as soon as they leave the lobby. With these bikes available directly outside our hotels, guests will be able to easily explore London in a more sustainable and socially distant way.
Florence Milner, Managing Director, Lime UK and Ireland, added :
Whether Hilton clients are looking to take a bike to an office meeting, tour the sites or visit a local café, we are pleased to work with the Hilton to provide clients with access to a more sustainable mode of transportation. Lime's goal is to get London moving again, and remote outdoor transportation is essential for people returning to stores and restaurants.
Hotel guests will need to download the Lime application to unlock the bikes by scanning a QR code, before traveling to their destination. Bikes can be parked at any authorized location in the city and do not need to be dropped off at the hotel.
