Having identified potential in this market, André Schwämmlein, co-founder and CEO of FlixBus, said last November: "We have seen a major shift in the mobility market in the United States, where both the role of public transport and the consideration of the environmental impact of transport modes have become major. FlixBus wants to be part of this evolution and hopes to soon be able to offer Americans its alternative mobility offer, ecological and affordable for all budgets.”
