Premier Inn passes 50,000-room mark in the UK with the opening of its largest hotel at Gatwick, surpassing rival Travelodge.
The opening of the Premier Inn London Gatwick Airport represents two milestones for Whitbread Hotels and Restaurants’ economy brand. The hotel is the largest of Premier Inn’s 647 establishments, across Britain, Dubai, India and Abu Dhabi, bringing 630 rooms to the market. With this opening, Premier Inn becomes the UK’s biggest hotel chain and largest budget provider with 50,000 guestrooms."Reaching 50,000 rooms across the portfolio is a great achievement that we are very pleased with.
