Lindner Hotel Group and 12.18. Group join forces for quality growth

The merger of the hotel businesses of Lindner Hotel Group (LHG) and 12.18. Group marks an important step in the consolidation of their respective business areas and reinforces their commitment to qualitative and targeted growth.

As part of this merger, Lindner Hotel Group is taking over the operation of five hotels previously managed by 12.18. Group, expanding its brand portfolio from two to four. While Lindner Hotel Group positions itself as a major player in the operation and management of hotel properties, 12.18. Group is now focusing on real estate activities, including the acquisition, development and management of hotel assets.

The merger gives Lindner Hotel Group even greater international reach, with operations in eight European countries as well as the US, Italy and the UK. With the addition of these five new hotels, LHG will now operate 35 properties, with a total of more than 1,000 additional rooms, and is forecasting sales of around €330 million for 2024.

Of these hotels, 33 will operate under Hyatt brands, reinforcing the exclusive collaboration between LHG and Hyatt which began in 2022. This collaboration represents a remarkable opportunity to drive growth for LHG in partnership with one of the world's leading hotel companies.

However, this merger does not mean the end of 12.18. Group's activities. On the contrary, the company will focus its efforts on real estate activities, offering a full range of services from the acquisition to the operation and sale of hotel real estate.

The merger also strengthens Lindner Hotel Group's brand portfolio with two new brands: 7Pines Hotels & Resorts and L-Collection. The 7Pines Resorts in Ibiza and Sardinia embody relaxed luxury and offer experiences centred on the well-being of each guest. As for the L-Collection, it brings together prestigious hotels such as SCHLOSS Roxburghe in Scotland and Hotel Stadt Hamburg in Germany, offering exclusive, tailor-made experiences for a discerning clientele.
