Evok Collection and Zaka Investments, led by Romain Yzerman and Emmanuel Sauvage respectively, have just jointly acquired Mas de Chastelas, located in Gassin in the heart of the Gulf of Saint-Tropez, which will reopen under the Nolinski banner.
This transaction marks the first acquisition by the Evok Collection group since Famille C Participations acquired its stake. The acquisition illustrates the long-term alliance between these two French hotel groups, which share a common vision for modernising the luxury hotel industry.
Mas de Chastelas is recognised as an emblematic hotel of the 1980s in the destination, having been frequented by many artists. Family-owned for over 30 years, it now joins the Evok Collection group under the Nolinski brand, already present in Paris and Venice.
The hotel will reopen in summer 2026, offering 55 rooms and suites, a vast F&B area, an innovative wellness concept, 3 swimming pools, padel and tennis courts, a garden and a kids club.
Today, Nolinski is one of the pillars of Evok Collection's development alongside the Brach brand. This expansion has continued at a steady pace since 2016, with several openings in Paris, followed by openings in Venice and Madrid. Saint-Tropez and Rome are the next stages in the group's expansion.
This wave of international openings confirms the group's ambition to own and operate around fifteen addresses around the world within 5 years. Several destinations are currently under consideration, including the French and Swiss Alps, Ibiza, Milan, Lake Como in London, Capri and the Amalfi Coast.
