B&B Hotels acquires a new hotel in Germany

The former hotel at Aachen Central Station is already the fourth German property to open in December under the B&B Hotels banner.

With this new acquisition, the portfolio of the brand, whose main shareholder is Goldman Sachs, now includes 164 hotels in Germany.

The property is being taken over without interruption, but extensive rebranding activities will soon begin in order to implement the hotel operator's design and look & feel in the B&B Hotel Aachen-Hbf.

The hotel has 128 rooms and is ideally located near the old town, Aachen Cathedral and the Elisenbrunnen fountain. In addition, the main railway station provides relatively easy access for guests.

We are pleased to take over another property this month. With the B&B Hotel Aachen-Hbf, we now offer our guests three hotels in the city of Aachen and another central accommodation with comfortable rooms for every purpose - be it a business trip or a short family getaway. We are always on the lookout for suitable properties to take over, as they are an important component of our expansion strategy.

Max C. Luscher, CEO Central and Northern Europe, B&B Hotels
