Marseilles (Ville)

One of the oldest town in France, Marseilles has many touristic assets as its rich and diverse cultural heritage. Its important maritime port and the recent Museum of European and Mediterranean Civilisations (Mucem) contribute to the attractiveness of the city.

Despite the fact that Marseilles hosted several UEFA Euro 2016 games in June-July, hotel performances suffered from a gloomy summer season following Nice’s attacks, and posted a 1.4 point drop in occupancy throughout the year.

There are 10,023 rooms in the corporate chain supply.

The upscale segment began to increase its prices (+4.2%) in 2016, whereas rate hikes remained more modest on the other segments.
