Fuerte Group Hotels started the year with the launch of the Daia brand of 5-star hotels for adults and the El Fuerte brand, following the renovation of a hotel in Marbella.
In order to enter the 5-star segment, "the one that has best withstood the recent crises, and whose growth rates remain high", Fuerte Hotels has decided to create two new brands: Daia and El Fuerte.
These new brands are in addition to the three that are already part of the group, namely Fuerte Hoteles, Amàre Hotels and Olée Holyday Rentals. With these five brands, the Andalusian group plans to continue growing "in the not too distant future".
The appearance of the El Fuerte brand follows the complete renovation of the Fuerte Marbella to turn it into a 5-star hotel. The group has invested 31 million euros for this purpose, 14 million euros of which correspond to the construction work and 10 million euros to the equipment.
The Daia brand will be used for 5-star hotels for adults, focusing on "relaxation and authentic well-being" in exclusive settings linked to nature and local culture. The properties will feature a "bohemian Mediterranean chic" design.
The brand's first hotel will be the Daia Conil, which will offer 248 rooms on the Costa de la Luz. It will have six restaurants, bars, a disco, a theatre and a sports bar, a 400m2 spa, a gym, 10 swimming pools, a tennis court and a space for events and business meetings.
