Wyndham increases visibility with "By Wyndham" suffix

The group adds "by Wyndham" to the names of 12 mid-range and economy brands.

Wyndham is about to change its banners at 7,074 locations around the world, starting with North America. The group plans to unite its brands under the same name with the suffix "by Wyndham" and hopes to increase its brand awareness.

These changes will affect the following group brands: Super 8, Days Inn, Howard Johnson, Travelodge, AmericInn, Baymont, Ramada, Ramada Encore, Dolce, Dazzler, Esplendor and Trademark.

"This new designation for our brands is a celebration of the accomplishments we’ve made in our mission to make travel possible for everyone,” explains Barry Goldstein, Wyndham's executive vice president and chief marketing officer.
