The hotel group, which is particularly active northern Europe, is unveiling its new coworking concept in around 270 properties.
The new coworking concept is being implemented in hotels in Sweden, Finland, Norway, Denmark, Germany and Poland. Guests can now work in Scandic Hotels for 19 euros per day, 79 euros per week or 199 euros per month away from their usual workplace or home office - without subscription or notice periods.
Jens Mathiesen, President & CEO of Scandic Hotels, explains:
"Modern work solutions play an increasingly important role in today's working world. We are seeing a growing demand from our guests and business customers for workspace close to home or on business trips."
The 270 hotels offer a wide range of solutions that adapt to the needs of the users including lounge seating to relaxation areas and private workspaces in hotel rooms on request. The range of alternative options for working, collaborating, and networking is available to both drop-in guests and companies.
Due to the current sanitary situation, legal provisions applicable to the prevention of Covid-19 are also at the center of attention of all Scandic hotels. The "Stay Safe at Scandic" program helps guests to comply with the applicable distance rules: Public hotel areas are marked, hand disinfectant is available, and public areas are disinfected as part of regular cleaning procedures. The number of seats in lobbies and restaurants is reduced.
