Radisson Red inaugurates its first European property in Brussels

Located near the European Parliament, the ex-Radisson Blu changed its color and style to adapt to a new clientèle looking for conviviality. Radisson Red wants to break the usual codes and counts on the animated common areas and recruitment of its personnel to bring a new dimension to hospitality at hotels.

Autonomy, sharing, availability, artistic creativity are now essential vocabulary in the language of Carlson Rezidor Hotel, Radisson Red, launched last year in response to the evolution of customer behavior. A trendy lifestyle version of the Radisson brand, the Red concept is both trendy and comfortable. Everything is designed to break away from the usual codes by suppressing the the reception desk to make room for a "Hi Hall", a a friendly reception area that is both a walk-through space and a place for meeting and entertainment. A check-in kiosk with personnel selected for their extroverted personality, virtual concierge on a screen that doubles as a selfie station to let guests' imagination soar; the OUIBar + KTCHN are open all day and meeting rooms that may also be used as exhibition rooms for local artists in between seminars...

The 149 rooms are called Studios, as if they might be the setting for a scenario of a stay written in direct. sizes vary from one category to the next without being smaller than 24 m²; decoration is mostly in the comic book spirit that is so associated with Brussels. 

This first opening prefigures others that will rapidly succeed one another in Europe, America, Africa and Asia-Pacific. The goal is to develop a new network of sixty or so properties in the years to come. The projects underway are located in Glasgow, Capetown in South Africa, Bogota and Cali in Colombia, Campinas in Brazil, Minneapolis in the United States and Shenyang Hunnan in China.
