Wyndham extended stay brand

Economy segment has been the most resilient during the Covid 19 pandemic crisis. It is therefore no surprise that the American group plans to develop a new brand on that segment.

Wyndham Hotels & Resorts reported good results for 2021 and its President and CEO Geoff Ballotti shared the company’s will to enter a new market with an extended stay brand.

“We've seen, in our upper-midscale extended-stay brand, Hawthorn Suites, a 50 percent increase in our pipeline over the last year and we know that demand is up there for an extended-stay economy brand.”  He declared during the annual investor call.

The project it at its first steps with a working committee in charge of defining the name, design and operational processes of the new brand. Further announcements will be made by spring 2022.
