Melia Hotels targets Facebook as a Communication Tool

The Spanish group launches a contest that will increase its Facebook traffic, publicity and business.

The contest is part of a larger online communication campaign called, "Life Management", centered around tips for well-being.Concerning all the brands that are part of Melia Hotels International, together with the group's corporate website, they have a total of 152,000 fans and followers.The campaign has been launched in Facebook so as to increase the number of the chain's fans. Melia Hotels & Resorts is currently ranked 2nd in Spain (# of Facebook fans), with over 55,200 fans. They rank 27 worldwide.Concerning all the brands that are part of Melia Hotels International, together with the group's corporate website, they have a total of 152,000 fans and followers.
