InterContinental Hotels Group (IHG) has today announced the appointment of Wayne Hoare as Chief Human Resources Officer.
Wayne will join IHG on September 14th and will become a member of IHG’s Executive Committee, replacing Ranjay Radhakrishnan who stepped down from the role in February this year. Wayne will also join IHG’s Global Diversity & Inclusion Board.

Prior to joining RCL FOODS, Wayne spent 26 years at Unilever, where he worked across a broad range of HR roles in both mature and developing markets in Europe, North America, Asia, Africa and the Middle East.
Keith Barr, Chief Executive Officer, IHG, commented: “As we focus on the next chapter in our company’s journey, the continuing work we’re doing to build our culture and nurture key talent has never been more important. I’m excited to be bringing Wayne’s rich and diverse experience to IHG and I look forward to welcoming him as a member of IHG’s Executive Committee.”
