H10 Hotels has announced the launch of its new mobile website and application, which enables users to access information and make reservations direct from their smartphones.

Thanks to the new app, H10 guests are able to have immediate access to information and are able to make bookings at any of the hotel chain’s more than 40 hotels in a convenient and intuitive way, from wherever they may be. The new app gives easy access to contact details, information on hotel services and amenities, customer reviews, as well as special offers and promotional packages. Bookings can be managed and tariffs are displayed in a range of different currencies. Using integrated geo-localisation tools, smartphone users are able to locate their nearest H10 Hotel and get directions to it. The app also provides direct access to all the social networks on which H10 is present including Facebook, Twitter and Youtube. The move follows a rapid surge in smartphone users since 2011, increasing the number of times the hotel group’s webpage was visited from this type of device. This incited the chain to create an optimised solution for this fast-growing type of clientele.Amongst the difficulties encountered was designing an app compatible with all kinds of mobile operating systems in order to reach a maximum number of users. Since the launch of the new mobile webpage mid-July, results have exceeded expectations both in terms of number of visits and hotel bookings. The success has incited H10 hotels to start working on a similar mobile page for its Ocean by H10 Hotels brand in the Caribbean.
