Created in 1954, the brand has grown at a slower pace than its number one competitor, McDonald's, which was founded in 1955 with the creation of McDonald System, Inc.

Jérôme Tafani will share his vision of the opportunities offered by digital technology to grow quickly and efficiently.

After starting his career in consulting, Jérôme Tafani joined the McDonald Group in 1996. He spent 18 years there and served for 5 years as Senior Vice President, CFO for Europe, also in charge of development and franchising before leaving the group. At Burger King, his mission is to develop the brand in France and Belgium.

The challenger currently offers 13,000 restaurants in about 90 countries around the world, compared to 36,000 points of sale for the American number one.
