This alliance between the Group and Meliá Hotels International will provide access to the company's establishments around the world for the development of parks and thematic experiences.
The company will enhance the expansion of the Katmandu concept's intellectual property in the global market through theme parks, resorts, products, movies and series, with the potential to mobilize US$440 billion in the hospitality and entertainment categories.
Meliá Hotels International, together with Falcon's Beyond, is developing projects for the inclusion of thematic parks in different hotels of the company around the world.
On the other hand, last May, Falcon's Creative Group, a designer of attractions, joined forces with Katmandu Group, a company dedicated to entertainment theming. From this union, Falcon's Beyond was born to engage in the development of integrated intellectual property, from conceptualization to the construction of theme parks and the design of commercial elements, all of this also boosted through leisure tourism.
Falcon's Beyond's primary focus for the original Katmandu concept will be developed through the application of its IP Expander model.
Several expansion projects are currently being developed for the Katmandu parks in Punta Cana (Dominican Republic) and Tenerife (Spain), through Meliá Hotels International resorts.
