Day Stay, the answer to remote working at Meliá

The offer Day Stay is available in Spain, Europe and the United States.

Day Stay allows the customer to make private use of the room and enjoy the hotel's services during the day, from 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m., and is available in Spain, Germany, the United Kingdom, Italy and the United States.

The initiative, as explained by its Director of Operations, André Gerondeau,

Was launched in a selection of leisure hotels in urban destinations which, due to the collapse of restrictions on business travel and mobility, are looking for new options to improve occupancy and income, with the local public as the main target.

In Spain, the pilot hotels for this initiative are

  • Meliá Madrid Serrano
  • Meliá Palma Marina (Mallorca)
  • Meliá Sevilla
  • Meliá Lebreros (Sevilla)
  • Meliá Bilbao, Meliá María Pita (A Coruña)
  • Innside Zaragoza
  • Hotel Valencia Oceanic
  • Tryp Barcelona Apolo.

In the list of international hotels you can find ME London, ME Milan, Melia Düsseldorf or Innside New York, among others.

The package includes the use of the room, which is equipped with unlimited wifi, a protection kit with mask and hydroalcoholic gel, a free bottle of water, coffee and tea, fitball, printing service and a 10% discount in the hotel's restaurants.

Guests will also have free access to the swimming pool, gym and rooftop terrace and, for an additional fee, can make use of other services such as babysitting, room service, minibar, parking, transfer or car rental.

New possibilities in vacation hotels have also been explored with Long Stay Workation, which is designed specifically for three traveler profiles: customers who are on hotel vacation and want to extend their stay for working; those who are on a business trip and want to stay a few extra days at their destination; and finally, those who work part time and want to spend part of the day at the hotel for their activities.
