citizenM has announced the launch of a new subscription model available via its app, with payments made monthly or annually.
The corporate subscription by citizenM gives members access to workspaces in any citizenM hotel living room during the subscription period, along with three hours of meeting room use per month.
Included in the programme is a three night stay per month at any citizenM hotel worldwide, with a complementary welcome drink and breakfast the following morning for every overnight stay.
Additional nights or meeting room hours can be booked at a 15% discount, while fixed rates start at £500 per month. The annual upfront payment includes one month free of charge.
citizenM’s chief commercial officer Lennert De Jong explaines, who is meant to benefit from this model:
To those workers who are working from home for the last six months, and realise they will not be back in the office full time anytime soon; to the companies that realise that the time to have centralised prime real estate, huge offices are gone, and are looking for smarter ways to empower their workforce; to the recruiters that realise that it pays off to not have to recruit for people to move into the expensive cities of London, Paris, New York and Boston, but still want to give a huge secondary benefit new hires. citizenM offers now a corporate subscription.
Other leaders in the hospitality industry also react to actual changes in working habits. OYO for example has recently announced a UK-wide initiative to support its remote workforce from the start of September, giving its employees the flexibility to either work from home or within the office.
