Best Western UK to launch its Kids Club

To address the family market with a more seducing proposition, Best Western UK is launching a concept of Kids Club with activities.

The children will have a separate check-in zone and access to kids'menus. BW Kids is open to six to 10 year olds, who can sign up online through the Best Western website or at any of the 270 hotels. Parents will need to give permission for their children to take part.As part of BW Kids, members will each receive a welcome pack, including a membership card, luggage label, collectable sticker book, a half birthday card and full birthday card every year, as well as a Christmas card. A quarterly magazine will also be sent to all members, which features puzzles and stories of Bert and Winnie – two fictional characters created by Best Western to support BW Kids. Fully-fledged members will receive stickers on a monthly basis and also adhoc giveaways and competitions. They can also send back their sticker book, once it is full in return for a prize and a brand new book.Tim Wade, director of marketing at Best Western for UK said: "All parents know that if the kids are happy, it makes for a much more enjoyable break. This is why we have launched BW Kids, to ensure children are more involved with where they’re staying."
