With the opening of a new hotel in Doha, Hyatt strengthens its presence in the Middle East. The opening of the Hyatt Regency Oryx Doha will mark the arrival of the first Hyatt Regency brand hotel in Qatar and the third Hyatt hotel in the country.

The establishment will take the place at the Oryx Rotana Hotel. The 400-room property, including 12 luxury suites, will have several catering concepts including 3 restaurants, a bar, two lounges and a jazz club. The hotel will also include a swimming pool as well as 1,000 m² of meeting and event facilities including a business centre, 2 ballrooms and 11 meeting and conference rooms.

Located close to Hamad International Airport and minutes from the city, the Corniche and the business district, the new hotel will attract both business and leisure travellers. The Hyatt Regency Oryx Doha is scheduled to open on September 15 2020.

Thanks to this new establishment, the American group confirms its development ambition with a growing portfolio in the Middle East. Hyatt Regency Oryx Doha joins the Hyatt portfolio in Qatar alongside Park Hyatt Doha and the Grand Hyatt Doha Hotel & Villas.
