Starwood Hotels and Resorts Worldwide Inc., Stamford, Connecticut, announced on Monday that its The Luxury Collection brand debuted in Australia with the signing of two resort properties.

Starwood signed the agreement with Lilianfels Hotel Blue Mountains Pty Ltd and Echoes Hotel Blue Mountains Pty Ltd to rebrand the 85-room Lilianfels and 14-room Echoes resorts in Blue Mountains, Australia. Both properties feature spas.“We are thrilled to introduce The Luxury Collection brand to Australia with the signings of two renowned resorts,” said Sean Hunt, regional vice president, Starwood Pacific Hotels & Resorts.
