The deal gives Louis exclusive rights to use the easyCruise brand in the Eastern Mediterranean including Greece, in exchange for investing in and operating a number of ships on behalf of Stelios’s company. As a result of the agreement, the two companies will now jointly approach Greek shipyard Neorion Holdings, in order to increase the number of ships covered by a letter of intent signed by easyCruise in May this year. The original letter of intent was for two 500-passenger newbuilds, together with a further two options. This has now been increased to three firm orders and three options, with the additional vessels being ordered by Louis.
