Turning visits into holidays: the new challenge facing amusement parks

Amusement parks are generally perceived as day-use sites, but this approach is changing. The operators of these destinations dedicated to thrills and fun are now looking to considerably extend the length of their visitors' stays. Park extensions, new attractions, expanding the hotel portfolio and developing the MICE offer are all ways in which amusement parks are transforming themselves into destinations in their own right. Disneyland Paris, already the most visited destination in France, is the perfect example of this trend, which is becoming a new norm in the sector.
