La Quinta Inns & Suites, which ranked 22 in MKG Hospitality's top 200 brands in the world for 2011, announced it opened its first hotel in Puebla Palmas, Mexico (city pictured below).
The property has 186 guest rooms and ten meeting rooms.In addition to Puebla Palmas, La Quinta has an Inn & Suites in Cancun, in Ciudad Juarez, in Chihuahua, and one in Poza Rica, Veracruz. It expects additional openings in Mexico in coming weeks. The company also opened a dedicated sales and development office in Mexico earlier this year, and appointed a Director of Franchise Development for Latin and South America last month.The new property opening continues La Quinta’s aggressive international expansion program.
