Finance Coordinator

The Finance Coordinator will be responsible for supporting the Commercial departmental financial processes including budgeting, forecasting, cost management, billing management, and reporting. Knowledge of forecasting models and cost accounting processes plus strategic, analytical and commercial mindset are key requirements for this position. Hospitality or travel experience is a plus but not mandatory.

Roles/Responsibilities

Analyze financial performance and provides forecasting and budgeting support for the Commercial department which consists of Revenue Optimization, Sales and Meetings & Events. 

Organize data into accessible reports and establish key metrics and tracking tools in line with defined initiatives & targets in the 5YP.

Coordinates Purchase Orders and Invoices for the department in cooperation with the different sub departments and accounting to ensure timely processing, payment in line with defined procedures and accurate cost tracking. 

Support building of pricing models for the various tools and services provided by the Commercial department and collaborates with the billing teams to ensure timely and accurate invoicing. 

Embrace and ensure optimization of systems and tools to maximize departmental performance. 

Work closely with Revenue Optimization/Sales/Meeting & Events/Finance/Business Controlling and Accounting teams to ensure aligned direction. 

Supports accurate budgeting, forecasting, revenue and cost management processes to ensure Commercial department 5YP targets are achieved.

A successful candidate will have Solid MS-Office expertise, especially Excel and Power Point, knowledge in FP&A or business controlling, strong problem-solving, financial and analytical skills and be well organized with a passion for numbers and an eye for details.

You will also demonstrate excellent presentation and communication skills, personal integrity, initiative, the ability to work as part of a team in an environment that demands excellence, time and energy and desire to handle multiple priorities and assignments simultaneously.

 

Job requirements and qualifications: 

Minimum education: Relevant background suggests Bachelor or Master’s degree in Finance, Statistics or related discipline; SAP BPC knowledge is a plus;

Minimum experience:  3 years of experience in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related discipline

Language skills:  Fluent in English both written and spoken. Other languages are a plus

Required certificates:  N/A – Desirable to be experienced in Finance, Statistics, Business Controlling

Work permit:  Must hold a valid one for EU
