Revenue Manager - SSCC Barcelona

NH Hotel Group is one of the top 25 chains in the world and one of the main ones in Europe. NH Hoteles operates almost 400 hotels with around 60,000 rooms in 28 countries across Europe, America and Africa.

Your missions :

Objectives: To maximize revenues, market share and profit for his/her hotel(s) in partnership with the Revenue assistant, the business unit’s marketing, sales & e-commerce departments and hotel GM’s.

Strategic pricing:
•Define pricing and yield guidelines for rates, room types, and customer segments
•Define the ideal business mix and channel mix strategy
•Design the long-term promotion plan
•Define overbooking and protection strategy
•Defines Crew & TO optimal allotments

Budgeting & forecasting:
•Builds revenue budget proposal for his/her hotel(s)
•Prepares forecast based on the NH guidelines (frequency, tool)
•Validates EZRMS forecast and ensure corrective action to improve the forecast

Daily revenue management optimization:
•Reviews demand calendars, convention and city event calendars
•Set up the events & seasonality database (e.g. in WebCRS, CRSM, EzRMS and forecast tool) in order to have best forecast accuracy & optimization and perform daily, weekly, monthly tasks for its maintenance
•Performs daily pick-up analysis, reviews yield system forecast and competition analysis and set strategy
•Reviews the price monitoring tool & identifies peak periods and defines action 
•Effectively applies restrictions in line with set strategy in order to maximize profits: rate open/closing, rate level and short-term sales & promotion action plan design & execution

Performance, demand & competition analysis:
•Carefully monitors market performance, RGI, channel performance
•Follows all relevant developments of the market place, values impact of demand generators, notes changes in supply, behavior in feeder markets etc.
•Keeps up to date knowledge of main competitors, product knowledge, pricing, business mix, etc. 
•Ensures quality of data is checked on a regular basis (correct segmentation, denials tracking, etc)

Your profile : 

The job incumbent should be commercially adept with a strong analytical mind, focusing on multiple properties and ability to translate diagnoses into strategies.

•Degree. Ideally mix of Hospitality Management and Economics/Statistics/Mathematics
•Knowledge of excel
•Knowledge of yield & inventory system is a plus
•Proficient in English & local language
