Sales and Marketing Executive - InterContinental Hotel

Your day to day 

  • Be the key contact to the client post contracting, managing and coordinating the end-to-end groups and meetings planning. 
  • Demonstrate elements of creativity and support the client in creating a bespoke regional itinerary for their group whilst finding every opportunity to upsell the precinct’s dining and wellness experience. 
  • Overseeing the operational delivery, you will work closely with the food and beverage team post hand over to actively ensure all events come to life seamlessly, delivering unrivalled and distinctive experiences for the client and their guests. This includes planning and conducting pre-event daily de-brief and post event meetings with clients, with a focus on continuous improvement, not just for their event, but with the wider precinct event offering in mind. 
  • Reporting directly to the Director of Sales and Marketing and working closely with the Business Development Manager, you will have exceptional interpersonal, administrative, and organisational skills. In addition to the groups and meetings planning, you will be responsible for supporting the functions of the Sales and Marketing team. 
  • This hands on role would be suited for a candidate who is highly organised, good at multi-tasking, has strong communication skills and able to work collaboratively with multiple stakeholders. 

What we need from you

You will have a proactive approach, with a strong drive for team results and a track record of achievement. 

Working knowledge and exposure to Delphi Sales Force and Opera would be advantageous. 

Ideally, you would have previous experience in tourism, and/or hotels, a great presentation and communication skills.
