The Marketing Manager KSA is responsible for driving Marketing activities across the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, developing and implementing the yearly campaigns & partnerships plan, in line with brand, commercial and operations needs.
Key Accountabilities
- Develop and implement the yearly KSA marketing plan which details the objectives, strategies, tactics and measurement to support key commercial imperatives across the year– including but not limited to occupancy / rate driving, Brand awareness, loyalty and partnerships.
- Develop needs-based campaigns and communications which are fresh, creative and brand supportive to the specific audiences. Re-adjust plans based on performance & market situation.
- Actively work with Marketing Shared Services regional and global peers to coordinate the development & execution of all campaign assets across IHG Owned Channels, Paid Media and hotels as necessary.
- Maximize the delivery of IHG Global & Regional Marketing initiatives & tools, ensuring these are fit-for-purpose in KSA.
- Lead marketing partnerships conversations with private, government, Tourism entities – actively seeking and selecting the right opportunities, in line with the business ambition and team’s capability.
- Provide local market knowledge, marketing expertise and consulting to the wider Commercial & Ops teams (VP Ops, Director of Commercial, Revenue Performance Directors)
Key Skills & Experiences
Education
- Bachelor’s or Master’s International Degree in Marketing, Business or Commerce or related disciplines
Experience
- ~10 years in a Middle East Marketing role with proven track record of marketing campaigns roll out – ideally within Saudi Arabia
- Travel and/or Hotel Industry experience preferred
- Ability to navigate and manage within a global matrix management environment
- Management experience in a multifunctional team, including business partners and agencies
- Expertise and demonstrated understanding across a wide area of marketing disciplines i.e. marketing planning, communications, loyalty programs & partnerships, channel management, social, PR.
- Experience in rolling out digital marketing campaigns, with proven track records of KPIs framework definition & measurement
Technical Skills & Knowledge
- Arabic speaking mandatory
- Understanding of Hotel industry: channels management strategy, Digital / Book Direct, loyalty programs. Basic hospitality revenue management principles
- Superior oral and written communications skills including presentation skills, public speaking ability and group decision facilitation
- Ability to influence internal customers and business leaders and effectively establish strong working relationships that produce solid results
- Excellent stakeholder, negotiation and project management skills
- Ability to perform multiple efforts in a fast paced, high growth environment
