Marketing Manager - Hotel Indigo Adelaide Markets

Set in the food mecca that is Adelaide Markets this is a hotel for locals and visitors alike. The first Hotel Indigo to be launched in Australia, Hotel Indigo Adelaide Markets comprises 145 guest rooms, a lively restaurant and a soon to be iconic roof top bar with panoramic views of Adelaide this hotel is going to set the trend for local dining and cosmic cocktails. Hotel Indigo Adelaide Markets will open its doors to a wide array of domestic & international boutique hotel guests and the hotel will employ colleagues aka "Neighbourhood hosts" across multiple disciplines.

Your day to day

As Marketing Manager, you are a key custodian of the Hotel Indigo Adelaide Markets & IHG brand management respectively. You’ll be responsible for the development, budgeting, implementation and performance of the Hotel’s marketing strategies in order to generate revenue, define a clear and differentiated position in market, and drive RGI improvements in line with the Hotel’s business plans. This role forms strategic external alliances and partners to support the Hotel’s positioning and actively promotes the Hotel and brand through community and professional involvement. Ensuring alignment to the Hotel brand, loyalty brand and restaurant and bar brands in order to achieve book direct revenue, market share growth and brand preference. You will work collaboratively with the Regional Brand Marketing team and the Director of Sales to ensure alignment and consistency of work with regional standards and campaigns at all times is crucial to this role.  

What we need from you

Ideally, you'll have a formal degree in Marketing or Communication with minimum 2 years’ experience in Marketing, Distribution Marketing, Digital Marketing or Brand Management. Advertising Agency, Public Relations, Travel Industry system connectivity or a combination of any of the above are highly desirable related industries. Creative, innovative, and aware of new technology trends in the travel industry. A strong understanding of digital marketing, social media and the content requirements for these channels.
