Role Purpose: This role will support three key G&M operational initiatives –i.e. Lead Crediting Overrides, Fee Governance and Lead Enrichment.
It will pave the way for proactive and reactive auditing processesing order to support crediting methodology strategies and help prevent G&M revenue leakage. This role will also manage and oversee the day-to-day data stewardship of the key IHG processes and tools in IHG Javelin (account objects) and IBM InfoSphere (account records). To ensure support of Global Sales, this role will help provide increased accuracy of account data, leading to better sales analytics and intelligence
Key Accountabilities
- Assist in the development and performing of account matching operational processes.
- Identify and suggest process improvements once the new process is operational.
- Assist in the development and implementation of the G&M Fee Governance review process between IHG system data (MeetingBroker) and Third Party partner datasets (Cvent).
- Perform account audit activities, including daily reviews of the Comprehensive Matching and Crediting Report (CMCR) to identify and research any matching discrepancies between IBM InfoSphere and SMART; making changes in IHG Javelin, as necessary and appropriate.
- Complete CMCR override fields as appropriate and submit for correction in SMART per existing processes.
- First point of escalation for Global Sales queries and concerns related to account hierarchies and duplicates in IHG Javelin, as well as account data in the MDM tool. Triage escalations through appropriate channels, monitor and report back to applicable stakeholders until issue is completely resolved.
Key Skills & Experiences
Education
- Bachelors Degree or an equivalent combination of education and/or experience
Experience
- Demonstrate proficiency in multiple disciplines and processes related to Sales, Operations, Sales Operations, Data Management, Account Management. Preferably has a work experience in a related experience handling operational processes and data stewardship.
Technical Skills and Knowledge
- Competent in Microsoft Office Applications – i.e. Excel, MS Word, MS Powerpoint.
- Knowledgeable in areas of sales and sales operations (preferred, not required).
- Adept in data stewardship and have an excellent attention to detail..
- Demonstrate strong time management skills.
- Highly proficient in written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work with minimal supervision.
- Ability to work in flexible hours, when needed.
- Capable and comfortable in completing repetitive tasks.
- Must be a quick learner, agile, and can easily grasp logic and concept.
