Position Overview:

Calling all culinary superheroes! We are on the hunt for an exceptionally talented and passionate Head Chef to lead our dynamic culinary team at our IHG hotel. As the Head Chef Extraordinaire, you'll be the driving force behind unforgettable dining experiences for our guests. Responsibilities:

 

1.       Culinary super heroics and Team Empowerment:

Lead and inspire our kitchen team, creating a harmonious and collaborative work atmosphere where everyone can shine.

Assemble your dream team of culinary wizards through recruiting and training efforts, while providing ongoing guidance and support.

Ensure the highest standards of health, safety, and sanitation practices, because even superheroes need to keep it clean!

2.       Menu Magic and Gastronomic Marvels:

Unleash your culinary superpowers by crafting mesmerizing menus for our restaurant, terrace, and meeting rooms, keeping guest preferences and seasonal delights in mind.

Continuously elevate our menus with new and exciting dishes to wow our guests, while maintaining a keen eye on profitability.

Harness your super senses to source top-notch ingredients from trusted suppliers who share our commitment to freshness and food safety.

Employ cost-effective strategies without compromising on the extraordinary quality of our offerings.

3.       Food Alchemy and Presentation Pizzazz:

Take charge of food preparation activities, ensuring each dish is an extraordinary masterpiece of taste and presentation.

5.       Inventory Mastery and Cost Control Wizardry:

Use your superhuman abilities to manage our kitchen inventory, maintaining optimal stock levels while minimizing wasteful excess.

Join forces with the Food and Beverage Manager to implement ingenious cost control measures and achieve budgeted food costs.

Conduct epic inventory audits and collaborate with our procurement team to secure ingredients at competitive prices, because saving the day also means saving some dough.

6.       Compliance Guardian and Hygiene Hero:

Stand as the protector of compliance, ensuring we abide by all local health and safety regulations, leaving no room for supervillain slip-ups.

Uphold the highest standards of cleanliness and organization in our kitchen, serving as the beacon of sanitation excellence.

Be the watchful guardian of proper storage and handling practices for food and equipment, because maintaining food safety is your super mission.

What we need from you

Qualifications and Requirements:

Possession of a Culinary Superhero Degree or equivalent certification (preferred).

Demonstrated feats of culinary excellence as a Head Chef or in similar leadership roles within the hospitality industry.

A vast arsenal of culinary knowledge, including techniques, ingredients, and kitchen equipment.

Exceptional leadership and team management skills to inspire and motivate our super squad.

Impeccable creativity and innovative spirit, fueled by an undying passion for culinary greatness.
