Brand Manager – Hotel Indigo EMEAA

Your day to day

The purpose of this role will be to manage the seamless implementation of Hotel Indigo brand strategy, brand plans and brand standards across the EMEAA region based on the Global framework - adapting where appropriate - to ensure competitiveness, consistency, and quality of guest experience to ultimately drive increases in guest satisfaction, brand performance and growth in the region.

  • Manage cross-functional teams or work cross-functionally to execute service and product initiatives across the brand.
  • Support development, piloting and hotel implementation of product and service innovations to strengthen brand health/attribute perception and raise brand awareness within EMEAA.
  • Integrate roll-out with global project groups as appropriate. Ensure ‘Hotel Ready’ process adopted. Take ownership for Unique Guest Experience project for assigned brands within EMEAA.
  • Manage rollout of brand induction and service programmes for corporate and/or hotel employees across the region.
  • Work with Insights team to identify and develop research requirements for thorough understanding of the market, the brands, and the opportunities.
  • Support Development team in pitches to include preparing brand presentations, case studies and other brand materials.
  • Managing external agency relationships across the region, as appropriate.
  • Act as brand ambassador and point of contact for stakeholders across the region
  • Analyze existing data and field additional research in the region as is required to maximize knowledge of current and future consumer needs, product and brand awareness, price/value perceptions, and consumer and intermediary trends to strengthen the brands
  • Support development and implementation of EMEAA stakeholder communications programme

What we need from you

  • Bachelor's or master’s degree in Marketing, Hospitality, or a relevant field of work or an equivalent combination of education and work-related experience.
  • 6 to 10 years progressive work-related experience in marketing and/or hotel operations, with demonstrated proficiency in multiple disciplines/processes related to the position, including experience working within a global organization and specifically working with/influencing franchisees and/or other key stakeholder partners
  • Proven team player who is also able to lead global virtual teams.
  • Excellent written and spoken communication skills.
  • Strong influencing and negotiating skills to achieve desired results
  • Strong understanding of brand standards and brand management.
  • Ability to manage agency relationships to drive quality in a cost-effective and timely manner.
  • Demonstrated understanding of the market research process.
