Your day to day

We're on the hunt for an experienced Area Director of Sales, Marketing & Revenue to join our award-winning team! Currently based at the InterContinental Fiji Golf Resort & Spa in Natadola, the role involves travel within Fiji and oversees a portfolio of iconic hotels across the South Pacific Region, which is poised for growth. The role reports directly to the Area General Manager-South Pacific and oversees the Revenue, Sales, Marketing and Public Relations functions of the resort. With a dotted reporting line to the Director of Commercial (Australia, NZ and South Pacific), you will seamlessly link into international markets and the IHG global network to drive business priorities, and be supported with mentoring and coaching as you launch in to your new role with IHG. You'll also be an integral member of the Area and Resort’s management teams, providing expertise and direction in all aspects of commercial activities including leading the planning, revenue management and development of above-market performance strategies and management of a high performing culture within the team.  
 

What we need from you

Ideally, you’ll have a Bachelors’ degree or equivalent International degree in Sales & Marketing, Revenue Management, Business or Commerce AND a minimum of 5 years of relevant international experience in a leading Sales, Marketing, PR & Revenue functional teams. As a minimum, you will be able to provide evidence of international strategic commercial initiatives that you have personally driven, have a network of partners and clients at your fingertips, and have exceptional communication skills to impact and influence stakeholders across all layers of our global organisation. In addition, experience with re-positioning and launching world-class brands into international markets a massive advantage.
