                Role overview 

This role is part of the EMEA Marketing & Loyalty team at Hilton. We deliver exceptional marketing campaigns, inspiring travellers to visit Hilton’s premier hospitality brands across Europe, Middle East and Africa. Our aim is to drive overall awareness for the Hilton brand and maximize bookings and revenue for our hotels. We do this by being passionate about travel and sharing a common goal - to spread the light and warmth of hospitality across the globe.
We’re recruiting a Marketing Data & Capabilities Manager to advance our media data and tech capabilities, which are crucial to the success of our marketing campaigns. This person will manage teams at our award-winning marketing and data agencies to build robust campaign measurement and targeting capabilities. You’ll also set clear objectives and roadmaps for our technology vendors, to ensure they effectively support the delivery of our paid media campaigns.  
As part of our team you’ll need to work across multiple projects in a fast paced environment, communicating with a range of internal teams including web analytics, finance, legal, procurement and cyber security. You’ll be supported by inspirational peers and colleagues to make a significant impact to Hilton’s success and deliver on our ambitious commercial targets.

                What will I be doing?

Reporting to the Senior Manager - Marketing Data & Capabilities, you will be responsible for performing the following tasks: 
- Build media performance reports in Hilton’s enterprise data visualization tools, from ETL through to visualization.
- Project manage the delivery of media reporting enhancements, working with the media team to identify requirements, prioritise, and brief development. 
- Champion the correct and consistent application of campaign taxonomy across our media campaigns, ensuring our reporting is accurate and at the required granularity.
- Co-ordinate the successful implementation and use of media technologies that allow us to reach our customers most effectively. For example, leading on use of first party audience segments in our media campaigns through Adobe Experience Platform and report on their impact to media performance. 
- Monitor agency resources used to deliver on each project and apply controlling measures where there are constraints. 
- Create and distribute Hilton branded communications to key stakeholders that clearly articulate project progress and benefits.
- Work with procurement, legal and cyber security to support the onboarding and management of new vendors and initiatives. 
- Run projects, manage risks and conduct benefits realisation reviews to report on learning's, successes and extract key learning's.
- Stay on top of the paid media ecosystem, including the latest developments and innovations to review technology opportunities to drive greater efficiency and effectiveness in our media investment.

                What are we looking for?

Your experience:
- Has built automated reports using data from media platforms, ad-servers and/or website analytics tools.
- Experience of working in or supporting a paid media team with media capabilities, technologies and reporting.
- A proven track record of gathering technical requirements from project stakeholders and translating them into clear project plans.
- Experience working with marketing KPIs and reporting on campaign performance.
- Familiar with audience targeting practices in media platforms. 
- Experience working directly with web analytics tools like Adobe Analytics or Google Analytics is preferred.  

Your skills:
- Outstanding attention to detail with a history of spotting project risks and issues, escalating significant problems and fixing them.
- Competent in using data visualization tools and building reports that communicate performance in a simple and visually compelling way.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to clearly communicate how projects are delivering value for a business to a range of organizational stakeholders.
- Capable of leading and motivating agency teams, keeping people focused on delivering project goals.  
- Understands popular marketing measurement methods like Media Mix Modelling and Multi-Touch Attribution.
- Takes a disciplined approach to maintaining project documentation.- - Knows the difference between 1st, 2nd and 3rd party data and their application within a Media environment.
- Can clearly articulate how data is collected, structured and visualized to deliver a report to end users.
