Grand Mercure Jakarta Harmoni - Director of Sales & Marketing - Central Jakarta

A Brand New Image of Accor Flagship in Jakarta with 483 Rooms, Harmoni Square Restaurant, Crystal Lounge, Sky Lounge, City Grand Ballroom, Cafelicious, 16 Meeting Rooms, Fitness Center, Swimming Pool and Strategic Location Center of Jakarta.

Your Mission : 

  • Draws up the Marketing Plan annually together with General Manager of the hotel.
  • Ensures that the plan is adhered to and monitors its progress.
  • Updates the plan if necessary (quarterly).
  • Oversees the administration of his/her team : Internal communications (hotels/sales), Filing system, Office flow system, Inventory control and Personnel control in his/her department.
  • Defines job responsibilities for the sales and administrative staff.
  • Assists his/her team and ensure effectiveness.
  • Daily correspondence with clients and follow ups.
  • Makes Sales reports, record of sales statistics (sales objectives).
  • Makes Promotion package, Competitors updated and Market analyze of the new business.
  • Encourages existing accounts to be our productive account.
  • Comprises monthly “M. I. S. Report”, Sales & Marketing Highlight Summary of all segmentation,   Sales Activities, Competitor Analysis, Market Share Analysis.
  • Conducts annual appraisal of the team.
  • Recruits the personnel for his/her department with the approval of the Management.
  • Supervises the cleanliness and the attire of his/her staff, the establishment of schedules for his/her staff in an equitable manner and keep the attendance register up to date in accordance with labor laws and with due respect for the budgets and the posting of schedules.
  • Establishes vacation schedules ensuring that the vacation hinders as little as possible the functioning of the service with due respect for labor laws.
  • May award and impose sanctions but may not dismiss an employee without the Management’s consent.
  • Determines in advance the number of personnel to be employed during each season.
  • In his/her absence, the Director of Sales may be replaced by her Assistant or the Senior Sales Manager in the department.
  • The Director of Sales may be called upon the undertake : Activities outside his/her own area and to publicize other than his/her own for specific programs and assist another Director of Sales /General Manager in the opening of or general sales effort of the chain in the opening or general sales effort of any other of the chain.

  • Level of Education: Bachelor / Licence
  • Areas of study: Sales Professional experiences 3 to 5 years
  • Languages essential : Bahasa Indonesia (Primary tongue) English (Working level)
  • Essential and optional requirements : Excel Power Point Word Opéra
  • Fixed-term contract: Yes
  • Duration of fixed-term contract (in months): 12
