The hotel boasts 120 modern guest bedrooms,8 conference rooms which can accommodate up to 450 delegates and newly refurbished RBG Restaurant and Bar.

We have a fantastic opportunity for a talented individual to join our Reservations team as Meeting & Events Co-ordinator (maternity cover up to 6 months) and assist us in achieving our financial and customer satisfaction goals. 


The primary objective of the position is to ensure that all Meeting & Events enquiries are taken in line with Company Brand standards to provide efficient, prompt, courteous and proactive service, hence maximising Meeting & Events revenue and guest satisfaction.




The duties of Meeting & Events Co-ordinator include:


  • Receiving Meeting & Events bookings and enquiries in a positive, responsive and professional manner and in line with company and hotel standards. 
  • Upselling to promote the Restaurant, Bar & other hotel facilities.
  • Recording information accurately and ensuring that the required up to date information is chased and gathered from the Client and communicated to other departments.
  • Collating sales leads to maximise revenue and working closely with the Hotel Sales Manager.
  • Conducting regular market surveys within the area of competitor hotels to keep up-to-date with new openings, type of business received and services & facilities offered.




THE PERSON :


  • We are looking for an individual who wants to take the lead in their future career within Hospitality, who has the qualities to encourage and empower themselves and the hotel team to take ownership and to participate in decisions that affect them and the business. 
  • The ideal candidate for the position of Meeting & Events Co-ordinator will have previous meeting & events/reservations experience in a similar role, excellent attention to detail, computer literate, along with a good working knowledge of Opera and will be a goal orientated team player.
  • Having a Yes I Can! approach to working life is essential for this position.
