Senior Sales Manager - ibis Jakarta Slipi

Hotel Ibis Jakarta Slipi is conveniently located in West Jakarta, just 5 minutes from the business center in this area. close to Jakarta Convention Center, shopping center and Senayan Sport Stadium.   • The Senior Sales Manager performs his/her duties within the framework defined by the chain and Hotel norms and by internal regulations as specified by the Director of Sales.
  • Assists the Director of Sales in his/her absence in managing the Sales Department to maximize market position of the Hotel on an ongoing basis.
  • Liaise with the Accor Sales Team to identify and target clients from existing customer base and general contact base.
  • Liaise with Regional Sales Offices to identify any opportunities to secure Corporate or Conventions and Incentives business.
  • Assists the Director of Sales in preparation of monthly Sales Report reflecting consolidated information from the Sales team activities, market intelligence and adjustments to the marketing plan.
  • Investigate / follow-up on all major Sales leads maintaining an effective trace system to convert potential business and lapsed business.
  • Be aware of business peaks and toughs and contribute innovative ideas that contribute to the revenue and profitability of the Hotel.
  • Assists the Director of Sales in advising Hotel on appropriate treatment of hotel VIPs and other visitors to maximize all sales opportunities.
  • Strives to implement the Accor Vision and demonstrate active use of the Accor Values
  • Assists the Director of Sales in the development of the Annual Business Plan and Financial Budget; use this as a guide to control expenditure during the financial year.
  • Assists the Director of Sales to adhere to the department budget through use of the Purchase Order System and inventory controls.
  • Be pro-active in controlling costs being fully aware of forecasted business and targeted profitability whilst maintaining standards
