Job Description

As General Manager of Ibis Amsterdam Centre Stopera you are inspirational and innovative leader. You have the talent and experience to run a hospitality business with a vision. With your extended experience in the hotel industry you know how to manage the operations of the hotel in order to maximise profitability and to ensure superior guest service and product quality. Overall you are responsible to develop, recommend, implement and manage the hotel’s annual and long term operations, sales and marketing, capital, revenue, expense and profit goals to meet/exceed owner and corporate management expectations.

Relying on your coaching qualities, you will increase the talent pool within Accor and thus contribute to strengthening the employee experience and team engagement. Together with your team, you will take care of the optimisation of our service standards and guest satisfaction. Not only do you show your inspiring leadership to your team, also your representativeness to the owning and managing company is always in-depth and precise.

You are a networker within your local community and responsible for assuring the continuity and quality of the product Novotel, and for the successful planning and implementation of brand projects.

Your team and working environment

Working and leading the Ibis Amsterdam Centre Stopera requires a high level of flexibility. You will lead a team of around 32, multi-generational employees of diverse nationalities. The Ibis Amsterdam Centre Stopera is a flat organization where employees work multi-skilled and reporting lines are limited. Additionally you report to the owners as well as Accor which requires good interpersonal skills and good stakeholder management and financial and analytical skills.
