Executive, Digital Marketing - Fairmont Nile City

The Digital Marketing Executive at Fairmont Nile City will be responsible for developing, implementing, and managing digital marketing campaigns to enhance the hotel's online presence, drive direct bookings, and increase brand awareness. This role requires a creative and analytical individual with a solid understanding of digital marketing trends and best practices within the hospitality sector. The ideal candidate will be enthusiastic about creating engaging content, managing social media platforms, and analyzing campaign performance to achieve measurable results.

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Develop and Execute Digital Marketing Strategies: Support the creation and implementation of the hotel's overall digital marketing strategy, aligning with business objectives and marketing plans.
  • Content Creation and Management: Develop compelling and relevant content for various online platforms, including the hotel website, blog, social media channels, email marketing campaigns, and online advertising. Ensure all content is consistent with the Fairmont brand guidelines.
  • Social Media Management: Manage the hotel's social media presence across relevant platforms (e.g., Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, YouTube, TikTok). Create and schedule engaging content, monitor social media trends, engage with the online community, and manage online reputation.
  • Search Engine Optimization (SEO) and Search Engine Marketing (SEM): Implement on-page and off-page SEO techniques to enhance organic search visibility. Assist in the planning and execution of paid search campaigns (Google Ads) to drive targeted traffic and conversions.
  • Email Marketing: Develop and execute targeted email marketing campaigns to engage with prospective and past guests, promote offers, and encourage direct bookings. Manage email databases and ensure adherence to data privacy regulations.
  • Online Advertising: Assist in the planning, execution, and optimization of online advertising campaigns across various channels, including display advertising, social media advertising, and metasearch platforms.
  • Website Management: Regularly update and maintain the hotel website content, ensuring accuracy, relevance, and a user-friendly experience. Collaborate with relevant teams to optimize website performance and conversion rates.
  • Analytics and Reporting: Monitor and analyze the performance of digital marketing campaigns using relevant analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, social media insights). Generate regular reports to evaluate campaign effectiveness, identify insights, and recommend areas for improvement.
  • Online Reputation Management: Monitor online reviews and feedback on various platforms (e.g., TripAdvisor, Booking.com, Google Reviews). Assist in the timely and professional response to guest feedback.
  • Partnership and Influencer Marketing: Identify and nurture relationships with relevant online influencers and potential partners to expand reach and brand awareness.
  • Stay Updated on Industry Trends: Continuously research and remain informed about the latest digital marketing trends, technologies, and best practices within the hospitality industry.
  • Budget Management: Provide support in managing the digital marketing budget, ensuring campaigns are cost-effective and deliver a strong return on investment.
  • Collaboration: Liaise effectively with other departments, including Sales, Reservations, Food & Beverage, and Events, to ensure cohesive marketing efforts and the achievement of overall hotel objectives.
