Communication Executive Uppersoutheast & Northeast Asia (F/M)

KEY TASKS

Job Purpose:

Based in Bangkok, the Communications Executive will provide support to the Communications teams in the development, execution and management of all activities related to Communications in Upper Southeast & Northeast Asia (Thailand, Vietnam, Cambodia, Laos, Myanmar, the Philippines, the Maldives, South Korea and Japan). The role offers a fantastic opportunity to learn about marketing, hotel operations, corporate communications, media relations and public relations, as well as work with dynamic teams. 

Communications Reporting 
• Consolidate weekly, monthly and miscellaneous clippings reports
• Track and report on monthly media coverage by number of clippings, media value and category

Internal Communications
• Consolidate content from hotels for monthly eCommunique (internal newsletter)

Media Relations
• Assist in the translation of press releases from English to Thai 
• Assist in distributing strategic press releases and press kits to relevant media 
• Aid in the fulfillment of media requests and visits
• Support in the planning of media familiarization trips
• Assist in the planning and execution of media events and press conferences
• Cultivate relationships with media while pitching corporate and brand massages
• Monitor media coverage and prepare content for clippings reports

General Administrative
• Assist with and coordinate daily tasks, projects, activities and events 
• Prepare additional reports and presentations as needed
• Provide additional administrative and research support as required

ESSENTIAL AND OPTIONAL REQUIREMENTS

Knowledge and Experience
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Communications or related fields
• Excellent command of spoken and written English and Thai
• Strong computer literacy in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
• Knowledge of graphic design software is a plus
• Previous experience in the hotel industry, loyalty, marketing or communications is an asset
