 Summary of Responsibilities:

Reporting to the Assistant Director of Finance, responsibilities and essential job functions include but are not limited to the following:

 Consistently offers professional, engaging and friendly service

  • Follow departmental policies, procedures and service standards 
  • Assist with all Accounts Payable duties (Invoice processing, cheque issuing and vendor inquiries)
  • Assist with all Accounts Receivable duties (Group and FIT billing and guest inquiries)
  • Assist the Director of Finance and leaders with month end functions
  • Review, circulating and filing of all Hotel Contracts & AFE (Capital projects and tracking)
  • Provide coverage in the department when needed (ie. Vacations)
  • Perform related tasks and duties as assigned by the Assistant Director or Director of Finance
  • Adhere to the hotel’s vehicle handling and safety polices while driving hotel and guest vehicles
  • Following all safety and sanitation policies
  • Other duties as assigned

 Qualifications:

  • Able to prioritize effectively.
  • Must be willing to work a flexible schedule in order to accomplish all major responsibilities and tasks
  • Ability to focus attention on guest needs, remaining calm and courteous at all times
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills  
  • Strong interpersonal and problem solving abilities
  • Highly responsible & reliable
  • Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to work cohesively with fellow colleagues as part of a team with minimum supervision
  • Ability to focus attention on guest needs, remaining calm and courteous at all times
