
Jin Jiang Hotels has taken its first step into the midscale market with the launch of its new brand Metropolo. The brand's creation follows the group's recent acquisition of 21 Smart Hotels in China, for a total of 115 million dollars. According to the international press, the brand's first hotel should open its doors a little later this year, and will be followed by 28 more establishments by the end of 2015. The hotel group expects to reach a portfolio of 100 hotels, located in major Chinese cities, oer the next three years.
