It all began with the takeover of 14 hotels by Covivio (then Foncière des Murs) from Starwood. A portfolio of well-positioned properties that require repositioning to improve profitability. Covivio is quite logically looking for partners to add new labels to its properties and sees InterContinental Hotel Group as the ideal partner for producing maximum profitability.
The transaction details belong to them.
