Fibra Inn adds six hotels to its portfolio

The investment firm Fibra Inn has announced the agreement to acquire six hotels in Mexico, representing 667 rooms, operated under two brands: Casa Grande and Microtel Inn & Suites by Wyndham.

Fibra Inn, a Mexican investment firm specializing in the hotel industry, signed an agreement for the acquisition of a six-hotel portfolio in Mexico, representing 667 rooms. The amount of the transaction would be 431.8 Mexican pesos, or close to 25 million euros.

The properties involved are operated under two different brands: Casa Grande, a local player for two hotels, and Microtel Inn & Suites by Wyndham for four hotels. When the transaction is complete, one of the two Casa Grande hotels will be converted into a Wyndham Garden.

With this new acquisition, Fibra Inn will have a portfolio of 29 hotels in operation and three under development, representing a total of 5,311 rooms, 799 of which are still under development.
