Edmond de Rothschild invests 100 million euros in the Four Seasons Megève

The group Edmond de Rothschild announced it will invest more than 100 million euros in the construction of a Four Seasons in Megève, due to open next December.

The Heritage branch of the group Edmond de Rothschild plans to invest more than 100 million euros in a new Four Seasons Hotel in Megève.

The hotel will have 55 rooms and luxury suites, occupying a floor area close to 14,000 square meters. Guests will have access to a spa, as well as other more exclusive activities, such as helicopter ski safaris, balloon flights, and dog and horse sledding. The forthcoming opening of the Four Seasons Megève, the group's first ski resort in Europe, is a good example of a reconversion underway in the Alpine hotel sector.

As of January 1, 2017, the Canadian groupFour Seasons Hotels & Resorts ranked 49th operator worldwide, with 106 properties for a total of 22,378 rooms, according to data published by Hospitality ON.
