The InterContinental Singapore Robertson Quay, on the banks of the Singapore River, has opened its doors for business. The Robertson Quay area is renowned for its culinary offerings and numerous art galleries as well as being a short distance from Clarke Quay, an area with a bustling nightlife.
This modern hotel is a reconstruction of the original Gallery Hotel built in 1999. It has 225 studios/suites and a penthouse. The InterContinental Singapore Robertson Quay offers all the standard expectations for business travellers; five meeting/event spaces, an exclusive Club InterContinental lounge, a range of restaurants and a bar. Guests can also make use of a lap pool and fitness studio.
As of January 1, 2017, Intercontinental Hotels & Resort ranked 35th hotel chain worldwide, with a portfolio of 187 hotels, totaling 63,650 rooms according to data published by Hospitality ON.
