Rock balancing

This is a month-long comprehensive health and fitness program for staff in preparation for the reopening of the hotel on May 1, 2021.

Located on Newman Street in London's Fitzrovia district, the five-star boutique hotel opened in 2017 and has 34 rooms. The Mandrake takes its name from the medicinal plant that inspires it.

This physical and spiritual program will take place throughout the month of March, every day from Monday to Friday, via Zoom. Employees will benefit from HIIT (high intensity interval training), restorative yoga, sound baths and meditations, individual therapy sessions with Me, Myself in Mind (specializing in stress reduction for the hospitality industry), and Business Mental Wellbeing (corporate wellness coach).

Wellbeing and balance has always been at the heart of The Mandrake for all our guests, so it only makes sense that the team we rely on are also given the same level of care - especially after such a traumatic year. With so much stress and concern in daily life, we've created a program with a team of therapists and teachers hoping to instigate physical, emotional and mental wellbeing so that our most valuable assets, our people, are ready to take on our spring rebirth! It’s wonderful to share the same values with the owner Rami Fustok, and I’m delighted to lead in such a positive way.
